Title: scotts 350 gtr.
Post by: scott on May 07, 2009, 10:49:32 PM
i just started tearing down my 350 today. it is going to take some great efforts to restore this little gem! i just finished up my 175 dt a week ago and i just couldnt stand looking at that 350 in its state of total need of restoration! i should have richards # on speed dial. i think he already knows my voice when i call for parts. he sure is a helpful person and willing to talk to you on problems you might have. i really am catching the bs bug. these little honeys are so smoothe running bikes. i have a 65 90 that i let my 13 year old drive around the house. he thinks these are a real hoot to! he helped me restore the 90 and i think it is great that he is interested in working with his hands and head! this new generation of kids growing up are loosing the art of being able to fix things yourself. well hope you all love your bikes as much as i do. i will try and get some photos on the bikes and restorations as they go along! thanks richard for this site it is really helpful!

Sounds like a real Bridgestone family ;D

Perhaps open you a section up in the Gallery in section called Members Gallery, whereas you can keep adding photos to your own section.  This way we can all see your restoration progress. I think this would be real interesting to us and inspire others to get started on their BS's
