Hi Graham,   Once again, we bow to your superior knowledge, winkers were the real McCoy. Thanks for Bill Smith import info, I never new that.

Hi Rowland,   Don't believe I have seen the MM article published on the net but usually plenty of copies available on Ebay.

I'm so glad I grew up in the 60s & 70s. I did so much stupid stuff and there's no record of it.............Anywhere !!

Richard has posted the April 1968 roadtest and photos of the 350 with turn signals in the articles/roadtest portion of the site. The color cover clearly shows the rear aspect with the winkers/trafficators (sorry closet Brit). The magazine had a longer title in those days billing itself as motorcycle and three wheel mechanics rather than just MM.I can't remember whether this article or another British one clearly shows a "Jet Lube" sticker on the 350 oil tank versus the silver foil/black lettering which most of us are familiar with.In any event there were few 350's brought into the U.K. by Bill Smith.Cheers,Greg.

Just looked the article over. The turn signals are nicely executed and (IMHO) do not detract from the GTR's (favored by all of us) appearance. Kinda too bad they weren't offered in the US.
