Aluminum brightener made by purple power use gloves and goggles spray it on a piece of aluminum.
Allow 20-30 seconds and wash off with water and the aluminum will come up very nice indeed.
You can get at most shops now its called again Aluminum Brightener and it costs about 16.00
For a gallon etc.

Phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and ammonium bifluoride.   Be careful and don't leave it on any longer than necessary, then rinse thoroughly.
