Any one with one of these bikes with shot head races like mine might be interested to know you can use races from Kawasaki A1 Samurai.
I was unable to source any genuine new Bridgestone races & couldn't find any taper rollers the correct size so got to thinking of ways round the problem.The Kawasaki races are plentiful, & reasonably priced, I know cos I've recently had do both my A1 & A7.The outer race is a perfect fit in Bridgestone headstock,the inner will require the the use of a lathe to turn up a small sleeve as Kawasaki race inner diameter is 30mm,Bridgestone is 28mm.
