reality check
« on: August 26, 2011, 04:18:13 PM »
g day all has anyone thought they were younger than what they really are? well i have to buy another bike to ride to work to save the triumph from being destroyed in the dirty dusty environment of the yard .there was a bike advertised just up the road from my place  for the right amount of cash a1988 Suzuki gsxr 750 .i used to ride these sorts of weapons when i was a whipper snapper  with ease and no pain .anyway i went for a look she was pretty rough but i thought if it lasts me six months i would be happy so i threw my leg over and instantaneously my knee went snap and my lower back went crunch my elbows went abit wayward and my neck went bang then i started her up! Then i had a thought a thought that shocked me MAYBE I SHOULD BUY A CAR !

Besides being cheap, I think that's why I'm looking at bikes from the 80s for the next purchase.
The performance was going up, but the riding position didn't mean laying on the gas tank.
I rode 150 miles on the '78 Hawk Hondamatic today and parked it feeling fine.
