Title: What year is my BS-90
Post by: indianaderrick on April 11, 2011, 07:22:54 PM
Hi,
I bought this BS-90 at an auction.  I would to know what year it is.

The tag says BS-90 SN: 12R044097 from Rockford Scooters.

Thanks for your help.

Looks like it was built June of 1965 from that code.  Good luck.

A fine looking bike!  My first motorcycle was a 65 BS 90, looked exactly like what you have there!  Put lots of miles on it, loved every mile.  Never caused a bit of trouble.  Hottest 90 in Cedar Falls, and that was before making the modifications in the "Tuning Up for Performance" booklet, including the expansion chamber made in HS shop class.
