What a great forum to find!
My first bike was a BS90, probably about a '65-66, prior to oil injection. Got it cheap since it had a bad wrist pin which I fixed with something like $4.00 of parts ordered directly from the factory at 1911 Harrison. Rode the wheels off it, shaved the head, modified the disk timing, and built an expansion chamber for it. A real rocket among the 90cc crowd. Traded the 90 for a 67 Honda 305 Superhawk, but went back to Bridgestone for a new 350 GTR in fall of 68. Again attempted to drive the wheels off this new BS. Lots of miles and adventures! Didn't do any modifications, but put about 50,000 miles on it. This was my only transportation through college, and for the first 6 months of marriage. Along with the 350, I've had at times another 90, and for a year a really nice TMX I wish I'd never sold!

Although I never parted with my original GTR, It was very used when I quit riding it regularly. I haven't always provided the best storage conditions since, so now that I've decided it must be restored, I've got my work cut out!!
