I'm on the GTR parts scrounge again.

Nothing runs smoothly as we all know, something always jumps out during a motorcycle restoration to shout 'thought I was the right part eh? Well I'm not'. This time it was the GTR clutch cable, I bought this one from someone in the States as a good used item last year, yes it will work but the cable lubricator is not present so won't match the front brake cable lubricator and I never noticed until now.

So if anyone has a GTR clutch cable in good condition that they really don't need to hang onto then please let me know.

there was a thread on this exact issue a while back ago, if no good used cable is around, it was described to cut off a lubricator from a old one that is not useable anymore and just re-bend the metal around the cable to attach it where you like it located at. Has been quite a long time ago ( last year sometime) i asked R.C. about clutch cables and he had said at that time he has none available and would check into having some made up again ( repro's ) but do not have the lubricators on these and would need the same 'technique' for attaching a non-working lubricator on them. Hopefully R.C. will read this posting and we can have an answer to clutch cables and where we stand with getting repro's.  bsforever
