Oil pump drive gear
« on: July 25, 2012, 08:15:22 PM »
Does anyone know if the oil pump drive gear on the left side of the crankshaft is removable?  Is it pressed on to the crankshaft?

Thanks,
Craig

It's pressed on to the crank shaft. Since I don't use them, I cut two grooves and use a puller to remove them.

Thanks Paul that's what I needed.  I'm trying a new ignition that will have a rotor mounted on the end of the crankshaft.  I'll let you know how it works out.
