trying to save the original front tire
« on: November 26, 2011, 02:09:53 PM »
g day all i want to save the bridgestone front tire the tread is still good but the walls are cracked and hard .i was thinking of getting another wheel and swapping them around for shows etc it would be good to have bridgestone tires for a bridgestone bike , so i am really looking for a band aid solution i have tried boot polish  to fill in the cracks but this didn't really work .
maybe i should just hang it on the wall

Maybe someone who "shows/exhibits" vintage cars would hav a suggestion. Armor all will brighten old tires, but it makes them extremely slick, very unrideable.
