are the 200s same as 175s mostly??

I have a '71  mark II 200SS but looking at the parts diagrams here, for instance, the battery hold down stuff is DIFFERENT than I see on my bike???

I ran into the same issue on a 175 HS. There are two different battery band configurations listed in the parts manual, which changed at S/N 16K. There's only one picture, which I think is the earlier version.  I watched on E-bay until I found something that matched my bike.

Attention 175 and 200 owners Most of my posts are on 175 200 numbers. Most Frame engine and serial #s are discussed but I need more numbers to continue! Some 200 motors where stamped 175 designation and 200 sequenced serial #'s.  The early 200 chromed sitting on 175 frames. If you look at my MIISS-7 they were down to about 11 175 frames left Thats when frames got the 200 stamp. This is when  they started the checkered 200 and two tone paint ended
