Description: Wheel coming apart!

I have removed the tire and tube rim tape and put the wheel in the stand
and i will undo the spokes 36 of them so we can remove the hub for cleaning also the rim will go to be re chromed.after the hub is clean it will go into a tumbler when ready it will look new then i will apply lacquer and leave it for 24 hours.when the rim is back i will lace up the wheel ready to go back on the motorcycle with a new tire and tube.

TUMBLING:

We sent the wheel hubs off to go in a tumbler.The tumbler is a machine that is about three feet tall and has a large bin inside it.It is filled with small pieces of plastic that has a super fine grit that is
with the plastic beads.There are over 50000 pieces of plastic in this machine.
The machine has a rotating vibrator inside the machine that causes the plastic beads to move all around the hubs being polished. It takes a few hrs for this process to happen depending on how shiny Richard hubs are to be. When i get the hubs back i will post pictures!
