Bridgestone 350 Rubber Motor Mounts
« on: August 14, 2018, 02:37:54 PM »
I have sent Richard a request for 3358-9000 Engine Cushion Rubber A
and 3367-9000 Engine Cushion Rubber B. But in case he doesn't have
them does anyone have a substitute that works?

I know 3367-9000 Engine cushion Rubber B can be substituted by using a Yamaha
part 102-22123-00. But I have found nothing for the front rubber motor mount.

Thank you.

Randy

           Randy,
I raised the question of alternative front rubber mounts recently but received no response.   I'm sure they are out there.
Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement, 8mm ID, 20mm OD, width 15mm or longer. When googled, dozens come up but only identify the bike model they suit and not the dimensions.
The front rubbers seem to fail first and would benefit from being longer. I intend to try this, making a new through shaft, if necessary and see how they go.                           Brian.
Unspoiled by progress.
I'm so glad I grew up in the 60s & 70s. I did so much stupid stuff and there's no record of it.............Anywhere !!

Fine sleuthing Pup, another issue resolved.  Will see if I can source in the UK or China.

Buyer beware, the GY6 engine unit is mounted on 3 rubber bushes, 2 larger ones at the front and a smaller one at the back which is the one we need. Explains it here -

Make sure you are buying the right one. Would have liked a longer bush but they appear to be made in standard sizes, beggars can't be choosers !                                                                          Brian.

Richards has them and sells them as a set of 6 for a BS 350.
2 front bushings, 2 back bushings and 2 that are underneath
the motor.
