threaded oil pump

g day all
is it possible to fix the thread for the union bolts ie. helicoil or re tap or is it toast when this happens .cheers .

Hi Coxy, it should be possible to heli-coil the stripped threads as I did it on my Kawasaki triple.

I also use these   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141437282863? rather than aluminium washers.
