Please modify your comments as this is a family site. I like to make a profit also. You are entitled by law to sell your bikes at your price. Sorry if you got upset.

Hey thanks, that's much better. Although I don't know how the moderators feel about b... Really if I was in your position I'd sell them for profit too cause I ain't attached to the smaller ones. The guys here are really nice people (for the most part) ;D

If you check me out you will find I bought my GTR for 200 bucks. I would probably, maybe sell it for 2,000... maybe. One similar to it sold for 1100 on ebay the week before. I would have bought em and flipped em for as much profit as I could get as soon as I could. I'm jealous ;D

I'm sorry... I apologize.... Used car salesmen don't deserve that kind of negative rep....

Used car salesmen have a storefront, you know upfront they are a dealer that buys at wholesale and sells at retail, they pay their taxes, they provide an inventory for people to shop from and quite possibly even employ others. Maybe even provide a warranty and service after the sale. Come to think of it, they add value to the transaction and are quite honorable.

I'll quit... The gentleman wants $2500, if you think they are worth it you know who to contact.

Hi Mitch, those bikes bring back great memories of my first bike, a BS-90.  Near as I can tell, exactly like your twins!  Bought it for $175 with a bad wrist pin, fixed it for about $15, rode it HARD for about 20,000 miles, and traded it 18 months later for $210 on a new Honda 305 Superhawk.  Didn't keep either bike, but sure would like to have them now!

Nothing wrong with buying low and selling for what the market will bear.  As far as I'm concerned, you are doing the wider world a favor by spreading the word that:
(A) the pair exists in such fine shape.  Truly unique.
(B) they're available to a new home as a pair.

With any luck someone who really wants them bad enough to pay a fair (yes high!) price for such a unique pair will step up and buy them. Not many survivors like them left, let alone a pair.

Sorry Mitch, but I don’t buy the old “i had the intention of selling one, and keeping one... but once i saw them and all the original documents they have, i cant split them up.” story.

Gotta call BS on that one. Why would you have to split them up?  If you truly wanted a Bridgestone 90 for yourself, your cost was cheap enough to keep both and even if you couldn’t afford both, you’d sell one regardless of the “history” because after all, you really wanted a BS 90..... right?

I’m not going to get into the “buy low, sell high” fray, it’s not worth it to me. I just think your sales pitch comes off as utterly disingenuous.  ::)

Hi Mitch

What a pity these bikes aren't available on East Coast Australia. I would think seriously about them. (I am addicted to 90s).
Please see my earlier post on this thread.

Good Luck

I have always enjoyed workin on bikes. I have made money in the past but not so much now. Probably because I have too many projects goin and other stuff too. I got buku motorcycles that I could just part out and maybe I will some, but I just hate to tear the things down. Maybe I'll just sell off a few to a better home but I'm a sucker for someone that drools over one of em. So even though I'm good at tradin I would probably not make much profit. (nobody contact me cause I ain't ready yet ;D). I would really love to make a livin with em like some of these guys do, but everytime I get motivated, they call me for a weldin job. Nuthin wrong with buyin and sellin motorcycles
