90 sport key position.
« on: March 28, 2012, 05:54:31 PM »
I know this may seem like a strange question. But, I am not sure which position the key should be in to start the motorcycle. I just went through the whole bike servicing it and I'm trying to start it. I just don't want to waste my foot power kickstarting it over and over with the key turned to the wrong position. Also, to choke it, do I pull the lever in, or out? Thank you.

To start, you need to turn the key one click up. The second click up is for your lights. You can also start with the second click up but I think you are better off trying to start without the lights going on while you are cranking the kick starter. The choke lever should be slid to the right until it starts and can idle and then slowly return it back to the left after it can remain idling.
