Hi All,
The site has been awful still lately, everybody sleeping or waiting on election. Hope all the bikes are not gone.
Later Mike

I do not believe posting these type of threads (3 so far) will inspire any increased activity from others that currently don't participate.

Instead, create an interesting thread that might "jog" someone's special memories, or maybe post some of your views  or "Atta boys" in other members threads. I feel that would stand a better chance at getting things moving.

Just my thoughts.....

Hey Mike,
Beautiful day to be out riding in AZ, but haven't done anything to the 2011 deer killer yet (350 GTR).
Sloburt and I should get together to talk about things we can't afford to do.
Got time on my hands, but waiting for a better paying job to come along.
Last weekend we spent $800 on one of our dogs who was diagnosed with bad pneumonia, heart murmur, and an enlarged heart.
I don't feel like chiseling a hole in the back yard for him yet so he's still trying to recover.
His new meds will be $100 a month for the duration of his life.
For free I could go visit a neighbor 3 houses down that is driving his '60 red Corvette by about 3-4 times a day. I'm starting to wonder if they go out for every meal?
I still read through all the postings here frequently, but can't add much to the excitement although I agree with you it has been quiet lately.

I have been in a waiting period with both bikes. 350 fuel tank has a leaking bung (no jokes please) so I have it out getting repaired. I am also converting my 175 to electronic ignition and had to get the cam lobe turned down. The cam lobe is done but I haven't had a chance to pick it up. I have the same guy doing both and due to a combination of him being old, slow and really busy, it is taking a while to get these things completed.

I agree with you Mike - there have been a couple of "the site is quiet" posts over the last several months. I figured everyone was out campaigning for their favorite presidential candidate so they had no time.

Gday guy's hope you are all well
The weather is warming up down under and looks to be great riding weather for the weekend. The first of the swapmeets is on this Sunday and I will ride the gtr so I don't buy anything!

Dark evenings here in the UK now. Still stripping my 350GTR, split the engine this week. All found okay so far but old oil needs thoroughly cleaning out. Hoping to put a list together of parts I need to get them all in one go. Unfortunately I may have to wait till the dollar/pound rate recovers.

Hey Guys,

I check in here from time to time, but only to follow the news.  I am going to start a rebuild on my wifes 66 BS175HS shortly, just goping throught he motions to orginise parts.

I have been really busy with family and work so not much to report from south west Australia...
