BS 200 ignition casing
« on: April 17, 2015, 11:52:10 AM »
I was putting my 175 road racer back together for some upcoming races next week. In some down time I started to disassemble a 200 engine I had lying around. when I knocked out the ignition I was surprised to find the casing had to two orings instead one. I've taken apart a few late 175's and 200 motors that had sealer smeared all over the oring in an attempt to keep them from leaking. I swapped the end cap to my race ignition since I always have a little bit of trans oil that leaks past the oring. I'll put it to the test next weekend at Willow Springs and the following at Sonoma Raceway.
