Wow Steve, the pictures of your cases after soda blasting with your formula look great. Hope to get a setup for myself, would be nice not to be necessary to send out.
Thanks  Mike

If you go into general discussion there a gentleman called Jeff Gibson he does Vapour blasting www.vaporblasting.biz
And he does very nice work if you just want to send your casings off to be cleaned etc in my opinion vapor blasting

Hello Steve, We talked last week on the phone about the results one can expect from vaporblasting on die-cast Japanese parts such as crankcases.  I'm vapor blasting a Honda single right now for an owner in Central California, and his motor is going to come out much brighter than I expected.  It was very corroded.  Cleaning up typical die cast crankcases will always take longer; I estimate up to five blasting sessions using fresh media each time (rather than just three sessions with sand cast parts).

Italian or Japanese or even Iron Curtain bikes--it doesn't seem to matter.  Die cast parts always take longer and the color is not quite as good, but they will be cleaner than the day they left the factory.  This Honda will be a good example.  I'll try to get good photos when its finished to post on your site.

(And thanks for the mention on your site.)
