BS175 HS Grab handle
« on: May 16, 2017, 05:30:08 AM »
Help needed please with fitting the grab handle to a HS175 with the muffler. I am using the handle which appears to be correct from the parts manual. This handle is different to the DT. No matter what I do I cannot get it to match the extension bolt with the stay and handle.😕

ISTR that the stand-off on the right side is different to the one on the left. Have you got them mixed up?

Just checked and they have different part numbers:

3448-8012 Left seat mounting bolt for HS
3449-8012 Right seat mounting bolt for HS

I don't know what the difference is but if you can wait until tomorrow I will measure it for you.
Be nice - feel good

Alan and Sye
Thanks very much for your help. I shall get back to you in the next couple of weeks, unfortunately I will be a little busy in that period.
Best wishes
