BS 50 Homer
« on: July 20, 2017, 10:46:22 PM »
Hello all,was wondering if anyone can help me with this.I am assembling a 50 Homer engine from a box of bits,it's going ok but am stumped on how the transmission drum stopper spring is fitted.I have the correct spring according to parts manual but can't work out how it fits. Many thanks.Rob,Tamworth Australia.

Hi Ray,I would really appreciate that thank you.I don't actually own the bike ,a friend of mine does.He has restored the rest of the bike and left the motor till last. The motor has been sitting in a box in pieces for fourty years so it is a bit of a challenge. Thanks again.Rob.

Rob
Just in case you were unaware, there is a free Homer parts manual on this site to download in the 'downloads' section. It would be great to see the Homer at the VJMC National Rally to be held in Tamworth on the first weekend in March 2018. I hope to be there with a Bridgestone.
Cheers
