Mike,

Looking great!

All I lack on my SR is to have the tank painted.

Thanks Randy,
Good luck with the paint. I am going to use my original paint, hopefully it will not be too dull. Need to have my number panel repainted. Did not realize it had to be mounted one way or the other to clear fender. My bike never had a fender and the girl who did the panel paint just put it the same as the original number was. Oh well, just another project.

Just curious. Would any of our group with SR-100's be interested in a new number panel? I am going to check with my sheetmetal guy in Indy about making a new panel for my bike. It will be exactly like my original with the correct bead around the edge and proper metal thickness. Also will have the slotted mount holes. Let me know if there is any interest, I will be going in the next few days.

Randy,
I just dropped my original off this morning. Danny said it would be about $100  I will get them powder coated white when finished to make a good surface for number painting. I am having four made right now and will put a picture on the site when finished with final cost. You can make a decision when they are finished.

Looks good mike.  That's one interesting shed you have, quite a few goodies hiding there, any chance of some more pics of your shed?

All that is left to do on the SR 100 Factory Racer is to have the tank painted.
The painter just got back from Florida and is ready to paint it this week.

Once I get the tank back I'll post a few more photographs.

Mike,

I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.

Are all three at the same stage?

Pictures of the wheels after the rear one has been assembled. The pair are ready to go for truing and original tires to be mounted. Working now on cleaning the original tires before mounting. Will show pictures of tires before mounting once they are cleaned. CL-100 has a proven cleaning process that I will use. Wish me luck.

Got number panels back from powder coat. They look great and are ready for numbers. Mine is at Shadow getting decal to match my original hand painted piece. Let me know how you think they look.
Thanks Mike

New number panel back from graphics shop today. They did a really nice job of copying the original hand painting on my original panel. Glad I had it done. Can leave it without the fender and Chelsie's original hand painted panel for me and the nice new panel for show.
