Me and my"new" 1971 Pearal white bridgestone 350 GTO
« on: August 18, 2014, 04:03:18 PM »
So I'm probably one of the younger members here (24).
I own an ATV salvage yard and come by rare finds like this once in a while so I snatched this one up to see it preserved correctly!
But I picked up this beauty this spring and have been in the process of bringing her back to life after being dormant since 1974.
As far as I can tell this thing is as original as possible! The seat is super clean and still very pliable!
I can tell that the rear tire is not original but the front is still a Bridgestone so there's a possibility that its the original!
All the cables are original and are all surprisingly free!
I really cant believe the condition of this little Gem!

But I did discover why this little girl was dormant since 1974, seems someone tore the clutch out but have no fear all the replacement parts are ordered!
Rolls over freely and the cylinders look great! So I have no doubt that she will be tearing down the street and to a new owner really soon!

Attached is a before and after I cleaned her up the day I brought her home.

Looks like new!  Shouldn't have any problem selling it!  Good luck, Steve

Welcome, always great to see another GTO owner join the site. Maybe post up a video when you get her "tearing down the street"  ;D
