Is there a color coded wiring diagram available anywhere online.

There isn't a color coded one actually printed in color; however, both the 50-175 Service Manual and the 175 Technical Manual downloadable from this site have B/W schematics with the wire color labelled.

Thanks

The diagrams in the Bridgestone 175 Tech Handbook.pdf and the file Bridgestone 175 DT EL Drawing.bmp in the wiring diagram Manual Section do not have the wire colors indicated.

There is a small black & white diagrams on page 61 of the Clymer manual with the colors hand written in. Some of them are hard to make out. I will use this and try to make out what the notations are.

Sorry, the ones i have loaded on my computer did have the colors indicated. I thought they were the same as Richard had on this site, apparently not.  The 175 Technical Manual from Scott's site does have the colors. http://www.bridgestonemotorcycle.com/documents/BS175sm.pdf

I drew the attached wiring diagram (PDF) from the color scan posted above by SR-175 (thanks) and the small black & white diagrams on page 61 of the Clymer manual with the colors hand written in.

I have proofed it several times and it appears correct, but it would be greatly appreciated if someone in the know would look it over and post any corrections needed - or an okay.

The only question I have is the horn circuit wire which on my bike look orange and are noted as red - maybe mine have faded.

NOTE: Revised diagram attached a couple of post below - 175 Wiring Diagram-2.pdf

Great job, wish I had your CAD skills.
My only comment would be that the two double connectors to the rear of the headlamp bulb (on black/red wires and the black earth wires)  just need nudging together. As drawn they could be mistaken for single connectors.    Sorry for being so pedantic !!

Just noticed on 175 wiring diagram, 2 wires between coils and generator, left wire is correct shown in white, right wire should be black.

Very nice!  Would you go to the Downloads tab, and upload it to the Wiring Diagrams section?  Use the "Add a Download" button.

It won't be available to users from there until Richard Clark makes it available.  It needs to replace the file "Bridgestone 175 DT EL Drawing.bmp" that is already there.
