Help identify these parts please
« on: March 04, 2016, 05:39:16 PM »
I just purchased a mixed lot of parts and some where miss labeled.  The first photo is a transmission cover gasket.  I think it's from one of the 50cc bikes.  Looks like p/n 2183-3100 for the HM/S?  I've look at the parts manuals and photos in the gallery but can't tell.  The second photo is a oil seal (28-55-9) with double springs.  Possibly for the crank(center seal) of the 175/200?  The parts manual only gives one dimension so I'm not sure.  Any and all help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Steve

Yes the seal is the center seal for a 175 crankshaft, P/N 09090-116.

Thanks Karl!  I got four of them in a "factory" package.  Must have been removed to photo and put back with the wrong tag?  Thanks again! Steve

Steve - Are you planning on hanging on to the seals or interested in selling them?

Craig, I sent you a message (PM).  I do plan on selling the seals and gaskets on eBay.  Contact me if you are interested.  Thanks again, Steve

Anyone recognize this gasket?  It's for one of the 50cc models (I think)?  Please help if you can.  Thanks, Steve

Yes, you are right- it is for either the 50 Homer or the BS-7 (not sure which one). I was sent one by mistake years ago when I was buying gaskets for my BS Sport. It came in a BS packet and I remember the shape.

Thanks Graham, is there a way to tell them apart?  Does anyone have a photo of the transmission covers from either model (HM/S homer or BS7s)?  It would help thanks, Steve

Figured this looked like a good place to post my own "identify this part" picture.

This center stand came with my 350 GTR in a box. I went to put it on, but it doesn't fit. Any idea if its actually Bridgestone or what it could fit?

Steve, the tech manuals don't show it well, but after looking at the parts manuals and somewhat non-descript line drawings of that section, it's pretty certain that is a Homer gasket.
