I've just bought another GTO does anyone know if the tank should be chromed or did they do some in plain red if it should be chromed l'll redo it if not l'll leave alone as its quite nice as it is
There's a picture of it in the gallery thanks very much

The red ones all had chrome tanks. The solid color ones were gold or white with a black accent stripes. I've seen several painted solid red, though, including my own GTR. I've still got the original chromed tank still waiting on me to cough up the $$ to get it rechromed.
Edit: I see from the other thread you started that GTO's weren't ever painted red, only GTR's.
