Carburetor leak
« on: September 16, 2016, 08:58:21 PM »
Noob question ..

If I am leaking gas from the bottom of the carburetor (almost instantly) - Is this because the float is stuck?

It just pours out from the little hole on the bottom..

Pulled the carb apart and cleaned the float... seems to be holding gas now..

The Stone got me out of trouble wayback.......... Had been speeding and just come into a 30 zone when a police bike appeared from nowhere and flagged me over..............Oh Damn  :'(

''' Wow, haven't seen one of these before'', he said and we spent 5minutes talking about the GTR.

As he was about to leave he casually  said 'Take it easy in future' and rode off...............................Phew  :P.

Unspoiled by progress.
I'm so glad I grew up in the 60s & 70s. I did so much stupid stuff and there's no record of it.............Anywhere !!
