Hi,

If it's a 90 or 100 engine that you're referring to, there's no problem at all. There were no internal mods made when BS fitted oil injection to the singles, so it will work fine on a 20:1 mixture. You'll need to remove tghe pump itself andfit a blanking plate and blank off the oil union fitting in the disc valve cover.

It is a 100. And thank you thats what i had planned on doing, but i didnt know if there was something goofy about it, you never know till you ask. Also, what do you think i should do with the cable for the oil injection? I was thinking to still run it into the cover and just not hook it up. Any thoughts?

It doesn't really matter what you do with the redundant oil pump cable, but if you are going to leave it in place it might be an idea to add some sort of light spring at the end to keep the inner cable under slight tension. Otherwise, I guess it could come adrift inside the junction box and interfere with th operation of the throttle itself.

If you also leave the oil line from the oil tank in place (but plugged) no-one will notice that the bike has been modded.
