Stand Stopper Bracket ???
« on: August 04, 2013, 06:20:47 PM »
Call me crazy, but I can't seem to locate this part on my GTR.   It's #37 in the parts diagram.  It's hard to tell from the parts diagram exactly where it would go.  Did all GTRs have this bracket?  Can someone possibly post a picture of it's location on their GTR?
Thanks for any help.

Ok, so here you go Crazy....... using one of Ziggys pictures, this is where the part is located on my GTO, right under the left rear footpeg.

Steve,  Were you asking about a GTR?  The parts in question are unique to the GTO.  On the GTR, the center stand rubber stops against the bottom of the muffler.

Haha, no wonder I couldn't find it in any of ziggy's pictures. I also should have looked at the actual part numbers. Anything ending in 9010 is usually GTO specific.

Hi All,
Yes,  I am referring to a GTR.  I guess I'm not crazy after all (at least about this part)!  Thanks for solving my mystery for me.  Thank goodness I don't have yet another part to track down!  Much appreciated!!!!

Moonpup,
Does that blob of mud (dirt)  :D on your rear footrest include Part 38. Don't really need to know myself with a GTR but might help someone else. Thanks for pointing out the 9010 reference for a GTO, Didn't know that.  Re Sauna, we don't usually have that problem here in the UK, but have just had an extended warm even hot spell, first one in about 7years !!

Know I shouldn't post here but might have a significant break through on the cylinder types issue, waiting for response to message from another member.

Brian,  you may have confused the "blob of mud" with my GTOs' patina. I also get the 2 mixed up at times.  :o

I believe this is part #38
