RayK,
Bike looks great painted!  I like the black exhaust.  What are you using for tires?  Great job, Steve

Thank you Moonpup and Steve for your comments. The tyres are Kenda 17x2.50 block or Trials pattern. They cost $40 AUD each. They are made in Taiwan. The originals were Bridgestones.
Interesting to note that this is the 2nd 90 Trail I have with an upswept exhaust, the ones sold in the US had down style exhausts. Both bikes were 1967 Australian deliveries.
Cheers

Thanks Ray!
Do you use the same tire on your mountain?  Or do you use one with a different tread pattern?  Great job and thanks again, Steve

Steve, I now use the same tyre pattern for my latest Mountain. Previous and original was knobbly pattern on the Mountain.
Brian, the Trail only came in Metallic Bue as did the Mountain.

    Ray,
Thanks, Meant to say, had they been made in white , would they have sold back in the day.   No green ones then ? ;D.

By the way, Coxy was more of a 'tinny bxggxr' (GTO post) than you might imagine. My nickname at school with the surname Tindle, was 'Tinny'.!! It's an omen ;D :D ;D

Brian
Thanks also for your work re serial numbers (carrying on from the venerable Graham W. RIP). Seems like the vernacular has migrated from Britain to Oz. Check current Oz ebay for rare GTOs for sale. Hint hint😀!  Maybe you could find a spare shipping container going to the UK.
Cheers

Thanks again Ray.  Serial numbers is a joint effort with Mike D        Never heard of a Tinny Bggr  before your post, so I guess an Oz expression.

Just shipped a GTO from US to UK.  Wife wouldn't appreciate 'another?' one (did say she could ride it) but can you post a link ?                    Brian

That looks very sharp in white! That should keep you from riding in the rain.

Thanks Smokey (you can't be that old). We have a 95 year old who rides a Vincent 1000 outfit in our local girder fork rally. He has no trouble kicking it over.
