Pitch for M5 Screws

Am I correct in saying that all of the M5 screws used on the 350 are 0.9 pitch? I need to tap out one of the threads that holds the little cable bracket (with the 2no M5 screws) for the oil pump. If someone could please confirm, that would be appreciated...thanks.

Hi Steve,
              Can confirm threads referred to are 5.0 x 0.9mm pitch. You may need a plug tap to clean threads to adequate depth, holes are only approx 20mm deep. (Just had another look in daylight - holes are only 15mm deep)

Staying cool is a tall order. Was just out at our barn and it's almost 110. Do either of you UK chaps have room for a boarder? I know how to twist a BS wrench.

      Got a 5x0.9 plug and second tap plus die, also got 10x1.25 and 12x1.5 second taps, all for £30 ($46).  They are good quality and give a choice of Carbon Steel or HSS.
     I was quoted over £100 for a set of 5x.9mm taps and a die in HSS by a well known supplier in the UK at the Stafford Show...........Ouch.........said there had been a lot of demand for these recently   :'( :'(

        Bert,   You'd be welcome to spend the summer with me, we don't have those nasty 'Fluffy' things, rattlers or red backs either, and in return I'll come to you for the winter. That could work.

I know about rattlers and redbacks. You got me on 'fluffy' things. We can do better than the rattlers though as we have the Eastern Brown snake - 2nd most venomous in the world.
