Looks like they need a good tuneup. I never had one that was that hard to start. I like the tuned exhaust pipes though. Hopefully Kataro will get some made soon.

I emailed Kataro about those expansion chambers and never got a reply, I'd like a set also. Maybe he'll see this. With all the troubles in Japan possibly making expansion chambers isn't the first thing on his list of priorities. I wouldn't blame him one bit.

That last bike did seem a little hard to start. If you have a kick start bike, the more people that are watching the harder it is to start  ;D

I wish I had the welding skills and the tools to whip up a couple of sets of these for me and my buddies  ;D , but alas, I don't. I would probably want to put some stingers on the ends, get them chrome plated or ceramic coated.

Interesting to see and hear. Dry clutches aren't noisy enough so they cut them open for show??
The first one firing up sounded like a chain saw with a centrifugal clutch rattling.
Also an interesting way of cutting the air cleaner into 2 separate parts on the one bike.

I've watched that video a bunch of times now and until you mentioned it, I never noticed the split air cleaner! :o

Interesting to see the Marushos in the back ground. I wonder if  the Marusho designer who helped design the GTR was there?

When he zooms in to show the cut open clutch housing you can also see he even drilled 3 holes in the oil filler plug.

In the first vid and the last one it appears that they have fabbed up some rear sets, you can see a shift linkage coming forward and a small arm on the shifter peg.

Looks like BRIDGESTONE'S are alive and well in JAPAN.  I wonder how many were sold over there compared to the U.S?

This is the video. THANKS  for posting.  Can anybody read what it says on the gastank? There are 50cc racer photos on flicker.

It says Bridgestone and under that, it looks like it says (Danton or Dantun) (821 or 831) there's also a small BS logo on the rear seat lip and bridgestone on the front forks.

If you click the Youtube logo on the video I posted, it'll take you to the original site with a larger pic and from there you can bring it up to full screen by clicking the symbol in the lower right corner of that sites video.
