Title: 1970 100TMX
Post by: TPRICE on July 16, 2017, 07:30:46 PM
Does anyone have diagram, knowledge of how the dual sprockets work on the 100TMX? I was looking for the chain to have two master links to shorten for the smaller sprocket....was it necessary to have two
chains? It is certainly running on the 64T? The parts catalog shows (29-17) 34T, (29-47) 47& 64T, (29-48) 34T. Length for 47T and length for 34T would be helpful!

It's been 50+ years since I sold any of those, the memory may be a little fuzzy, but I'm fairly certain there was an extra piece of chain and an extra master link included with the bike from the factory.  Numbers of links, can't help you with that, you'll just have to get another master link and  figure out the length difference yourself unless someone else can tell you.
