Anyone here interested in old English sport cars?
« on: September 24, 2009, 08:08:33 PM »
I am looking for a English sports car, in the 50's or 60's, any one here know about them.

I have fixed up a 65 Mustang, and now looking for a English job.  Need some advice on what to

Hi Jeff

Here in Oz the MG series TD,A,B models as well as Triumphs - TR series are quite popular.  Right hand drive though.

Jeff, you really need to look into what is important to you. Austin Healey's, MG's and Triumph's come to my mind right away. But maybe you are looking at Jaguar, Morris Minor, A.C or a Singer. The sky is the limit and they all have their strong points and weak points, just like any car. I am not sure though that I could get used to driving on the right side or shifting with my left hand. Some of these, depending on the make, model and year, could be driven from on the left side.

Hi Steve...just wondering if you are the same Steve Reed who used to have a motorcycle shop in north Wales and used to sell some Z1 stuff?

Crikey, small world isn't it Steve! Anyway, hope all is good with you over there...a few guys on the Z1 Owners Club website were only saying a week or two back "Whatever happened to Steve Reed"! One guy did actually say that you had moved to the States, so even more of a coincidence that I should bump into you here!

All the best, Steve
