Newcomer to BS in Pennsylvania

Well today was a great day.  Ive been interested in BS motorcycles for 2 years now.  Today a guy that I did work for had a BS 90 sport in his basement.  He said its been there for over 40 years and he was going to put it out for trash.  So I got in my truck and picked it up at no cost!  Now Im looking for parts to fully restore it.  So any help in the where abouts parts would be so helpful.  I dont know exactly all it needs yet (I know a gas tank and front fender)  So any tips would be so appreciated!  Thank you!

Welcome! I would think it's a matter of how much you can spend to bring it back to working stock (or better) condition.
Did it come with a title? Or is that not a concern for that vintage in PA?

well i have a little extra cash for it.  if i can get it running and look alright by the end of summer ill be pumped.  as far as the title ill probably have to get a reconstructed title for it.   but things i need as of right now (dont know if it runs yet, the motor is in pieces) are:

1. Gas tank  (its pitted with rust and the inside is full of rust)
2. Front fender  (also pitted with rust)
3. Front and Rear turn signals
4. Basically everything electrical (wire harness, battery etc)

What type of batter does the bs 90 take?

Before you get in to deep, see what your state reguires to get a title. In some states, there is no way to get one, unless you can hand them the old title. Other states it appears to be do-able. If you spend too much time and money on it and can't get a title, it can be an expensive education in the ways of your state and restorations.
