synthetic low smoke two stoke oil ???

g day all i bought some penrite  synthetic low smoke oil the other day i drained all the old mineral oil out and fired her up with the penrite in with in a few seconds the shed was full of smoke (low smoke my ar##) it ran just fine on the castrol an hour previously  maybe a problem with the oil pump?
