Roger Sharman introduction
« on: January 19, 2018, 03:55:28 PM »
Hi Folks, my second try at an intro,I'm retired from the U.K. and starting on a resto of a  1968, 175cc Hurricane Scrambler that has always lived in England. She's complete but very rusty in places. Currently blasting and coating the frame, cleaning the tin wear off plus looking for a good affordable chrome plater. The engine was running when I bought her so fingers crossed. My first two stroke since I learnt on a BSA Bantam in1962 !! Finding the forum v. useful will add photos when I work out how to do it! Currently listing spares wanted. Best Regards. Roger

         Hi Roger,
Welcome to the BS site.   There's about 6 members in the UK active on the forum, you'll soon get to know us. Good luck with the restoration, plenty of help available here, ask as many questions as you like. Great to find an original UK machine and a runner ! not so many left. Some members have used Chrome Fix in Birmingham and been pleased with the cost (well, maybe less traumatised ;D ;)) and result.
          Brian.

Unspoiled by progress.
I'm so glad I grew up in the 60s & 70s. I did so much stupid stuff and there's no record of it.............Anywhere !!
