Who Can Rebuild My 350 GTR Crankshaft ?
« on: February 07, 2018, 11:29:50 PM »
Hi everyone. I need to get one of the center bearings replaced in my crankshaft. Does anyone know where I should send the crankshaft to have this work done. I will be getting a new bearing in the mail and this is the last bit of work I need to get done before I can put my engine together. I have heard that these 350 cranks are not as simple to have rebuilt as other multi cylinder press together crankshafts.

Check with Scott Clough. 760.365.4505. Last I talked with him he was having some issues with his back. If he can't do it I'm sure he can steer you toward someone. http://home.earthlink.net/~scloughn/

I wonder where you are getting a single bearing from? Does anyone have a source for a single lab seal?

Depending on where you are located I had my crankshaft rebuilt by Jerry at Irondog in Vienna Township, Michigan. Cheapest rebuild I found and he has plenty of experience with crankshafts. Actually I think he has pictures on his Facebook from when he rebuilt mine. Maybe give him a ring.
