First , i would like to say i really like this site! Very informative. It has been over 30 years ago now that my older brother (now deceased) sold his 1971 Bridgestone 350 GTR. I still can recall what a high performance machine it was even if it was a stock machine without any alterations of any kind. Anyway,i had done some investigating as to what happened to it, and back when my brother sold it , it was to a friend of his at the time. I called up one of my brothers other friends ( they were kind of a close group of friends back when) and i had inquired if he would know about the whereabouts of the 350 GTR or whatever happened to it. Sounds kind of 'out-of-the-blue' to ask someone about something like this after all those years , but i figured what the heck...i gotta find out. I was told by the guy i called up that the guy that did buy it back then, probably still has it sitting around ( he is currently working for the railroad and is not home too much). I am hoping that it would be available for purchase, and it would take me some time to restore it, but it would be more of a sentimental purchase more than anything. If it does come out to be that i am able to purchase it...i will post some pics of it on this site ( i hope it won't be too 'ugly' to do it, but then again...i can post the 'after' restoration pics later ( don't know how long that might be)
