Do you need all new shocks, or just internal components?

What model bike do you have?

I have a 100 Sport. and i would like to have external springs. I have never rebuilt suspension before so i dont really know what im doing on a rebuild. but i know a while ago i saw a writeup on this site about doing it, but i really want external spings so i figured after market. Thoughts?

Definitely have to be aftermarket if you want that look. Bridgestone has nothing with external springs. That will be a pretty cool "non-traditional" look.

I have a 100 Sport as well. Just got it recently. I am in the middle of a 50 sport rebuild so I wont tackle the 100 until I'm done with the current project.
