Help and how to subjects
« on: May 23, 2009, 05:58:26 PM »
Since becoming a member and plowing around through the topics and past discussions,it became apparent that theres a lot of good technical talk going on. But,its not finding its way to the how to section of the forum. I've put forth some of my own hairbrained methods and some comments coming from my personal experience. But,I am real interested to know how smokeys milkstone formula works,or the molasses concoction for cleaning gas tanks for example. Maybe some of these suggestions should be examined by a few qualified members,or possibly a poll. Allow the ideas and suggestions be considered for a time, and then add them to the how to section. Cleaning out gas tanks, cleaning and refinishing parts, etc., and where to get it all done is all sought after info by most everyone just getting interested in these great old machines. And no matter how seasoned, there is something to be learned from everyone. Mark.

Mark

I understand your concern regarding messages in wrong section

There are  three guys who have volunteered to be moderators
Karl, Scott and Sam, many thanks to them.

A moderator has the power to move messages to other boards along with
the option to do many more duties on the board, all this is voluntary, as they can
do as little or much as they want.

I also ask the moderators to help promote this board for all the BS  enthusiasts

Would you consider being a moderator? We could use as much help as possible

Please let me know

Thanks
Richard Clark

Richard,I am truly honored that you would ask me. I will roll it around a bit over the weekend and talk to you a little more about it the first of the week. Everyone have a great holiday. Mark.
