New 175 Dual Twin owner from Northern California
« on: August 12, 2018, 08:55:23 PM »
I bought a 1966 175DT a few weeks ago in pretty good but not original condition. I think it's a good restoration candidate since there's no real patina. I've already read through all (yes all) the old posts looking for wisdom.

This is my first bike restoration. I've tried a few cars in the past but lacked the follow through and finances to finish them. I'm confident this one will get done. I chose the Bridgestone after seeing it on Craigslist and the more I researched it the more excited I got about it.

At the moment I'm having fun researching what I have and what I need. I have questions I'll post under General Discussion but for now here’s the Craigslist picture that got me hooked.
