Title: Newbie
Post by: hgzumanity on September 02, 2017, 06:06:26 PM
Hey everyone! I am in Philadelphia but I got hooked on Bridgestones when I was going to school in Kansas a couple years ago. I ran across Bridgestones a lot in the Midwest. I had a 175 DT that I sold to buy a 175 HS. I rode both of those bikes all over Kansas and I enjoyed maintaining them. I made the mistake of selling the scrambler when I graduated. After a couple years of being without a Bridgestone, I bought a GTR the other day that is missing parts and needs everything. I had to take it apart and put it in my car to get it home! I have already started asking for parts in the classified and I am going to go through it and get it running over the winter. I'm very happy that I found this group and I am grateful for the wealth of information here. I have added a few pictures of my Bridgestones. Thanks, Harry

Thanks for the welcome! It looks like there are several members from eastern Pennsylvania. Do you all ever meet up at shows or swap meets or anything like that?

Welcome to the illness!
Cool to see another GTR will get pavement under its tires again.
Waiting for cooler weather in the southwest to think about starting my rebuild project.
