New member, 350 GTR Cafe style

Hello to all
I have a 350 GTR that was modified into a Cafe Racer style, racing pipes etc.
I have a couple (or more) questions.
1. Who are part sources? (besides Ebay)
2. Anyone ever use Nicosil instead of chrome in the cylinders? Very popular stuff with the snow sled people.
3. Anyone sell gasket sets?
My engine melted a piston and seized, so need to redo the barrels -
Also, I have a parts bike that was fairly complete, so have some extra parts - it also was seized (left side) and the pot has a broken skirt. P/O left it outside for years, tank was toast.

Check the Parts Suppliers thread on this board.  Richard Clark is the first place to check (this is his board).  See the thread "Request parts from Richard".  Also, www.certifiedpartscorp.com.  Then others listed on Scott Noga's website at http://www.bridgestonemotorcycle.com/parts.htm.

A couple of us have been using nikasil plated cylinders in our 175's for road racing.  It seems to be more durable than chrome in case of a seizure or ring breakage. It seems tougher and less likely to lift. We've used Millennium and Bore Tech for the plating, but I'm certain some of the other places will do good work, too.  It cost us around $175/ cylinder for the 175's, it may be more for 350 size cylinders.

There are no gasket sets that I'm aware of, but Richard has most of the gaskets individually and Certified may still have some of them, too.

Love the olds. Interesting twist on the top. I have a '62 Dynamic 88 convertible in need of restoration. Its been stored away now for @ 25 years. Cant wait to see the Bridgestone.

Very slick. Yamaha tank,mettise front fender? Maybe some one-off parts like the fairing and seat base?

Close, but no cigar! Modified in the 70's!
F/G Norton tank
Triumph front end
F/G accessory chopper fender
Unknown accessory seat - may have been specially fabricated
Fairing is F/G (I made it after I got the bike in 05)
A blast to ride till it lost a piston - hope to have it going again soon.

A fun looking ride! Does the Triumph front mean that's where the handlebars came from too?
Would you mind mentioning what brand and size tires you have on it? Assuming you still have 19" rims there.
The way our summer weather is going in WI, I'm not sure I'll have my 350 on the road this summer. The honda MB5 has gained 600 miles since I bought it last winter, and I enjoy seeing the 80 mpg it gets.

The bars are ordinary after-market clip-ons.
Rear tire is a Dunlop K70, 4.00x19
Front is a Duro 100/90-19 with a tube
Both are a little large, but it worked really well for me (till it pooped!)
