I'm trying to get my BS 100 TMX started? A couple times it ran 5 seconds or less and that's it?

Have you tried cleaning the carb and fuel tank lines?  Is the vent hole in the fuel cap plugged?  Sounds like it may not be getting fuel.  Good luck, Steve
