Title: Traffic tickets received while riding a Bridgestone
Post by: husker on January 25, 2017, 10:43:51 AM
Paul since I came up with the idea I'll get it started. Just wish I could contribute! Didn't have a Bridgestone in my younger days! My only ticket on a bike was for speeding somewhere in Utah 1985 on a KZ650. This could be interesting!

My records clean, although I did receive a few in my 240Z while riding on 4 Bridgestone's.  8)

Same here, all automotive caused.  If I get one on a motorcycle, it'll be my FJR1300, not one of the Bridgestones.

Used to go everywhere at 80 on the old GTR, how I never got a ticket on the bike or any car since I do not know. Lucky, I guess.

Have said this before, had been speeding, got pulled over by a police motorcyclist, oh damn, he was that interested in the GTR ('never seen one of these before') that he overlooked the ticket. With a grin and the wag of a finger, he just said 'Oh, take it easy in future'  as he rode off, the BS saved me on that occasion !!

i was tearing up the highway when I saw the blue and reds in my mirror ,then give it a fistful eventually I pulled over .the cop was red in the face going off his nut saying why the f**** didn't you pull over .then he says its your lucky day mate if you can come up with an excuse I haven't heard before I will let you go.
I replied my wife left me for a copper I thought it was you trying to give her back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good one coxy...I think once they're gone better left that way. I wouldn't know since I'm still married to the original unrestored (survivor) wife. She's a saint and for 43 years, BS's and all.

DCR, I think "Loud pipes attract attention" goes along with goes along with "Often accused but never convicted" .........at least in my case!
Wives.. I have a keeper too. She has a thing for horses which I balance out with motorcycles!......Rod

Last time I got pulled over i told the police office that I was driving a whole lot faster before I got to where he was sitting, so the ticket he's about to give me is considerably less than if he was sitting a few miles back. He laughed and wrote me a ticket for something like failure to obey traffic control device - which in PA is a very low fine and no points.
