Title: 350 timing bolt
Post by: CafeTBird on January 25, 2009, 12:05:35 PM
I don't have a timing bolt for my 350's.  Used to have one in the tool kit, but it got lost.  I have been using a screwdriver that fits pretty good.  Are these things still available for purchase?  Are there reasonable facimiles?

I'm told you can take a 0111-0812 Hex bolt A. Drill it on a lathe to the same size as a rounded pin, looks like 3/16" would be the right size

Many people use a drill rod, or old drill bit, works fine.

We have the  BS pin  in stock, just in case
