Removing a flywheel
« on: March 10, 2014, 04:28:26 PM »
Just as an interesting anecdote, check out Dave Roper's story on removing the flywheel on his Moto Guzzi Dondolino after an engine failure:  http://www.daveroperracing.blogspot.com/search/label/Dondolino    Makes removing a Bridgestone 90 flywheel seem easy by comparison.

I was working that corner at Grattan when the rod let go and dumped him on the track, so had a first hand view, plus the opportunity to sweep sand and gravel off the track while dodging race bikes.
