Chain Links - TMX 100 Dual sprocket

Does anyone know many "links" were removable from the TMX100 drive chain to use the smaller street sprocket?
64 tooth to the 47 tooth? Parts listing shows the "chain extension" (#50), I assume the extension was using two master links?  I an currently running on the 64 tooth, but it is one solid drive chain, too long for the 47 tooth.
