I've never seen this approach to selling a front end before, you've just got to ask yourself why he did this?

Could it be that he has no other tools other than a disk cutter?

Wellllll...................Looks more like a torch job to me. A cut off wheel would have been a neater job.  I remember back in the eighties a neighboring farmer had an engine in a combine die and located a complete engine to replace it in a salvage yard in another state.  Said replacement engine arrived in a crate with the mounts and ALL other connections (throttle, fuel lines, etc) severed in exactly the same way......with a torch.  A complete GTR frame without a title isn't exactly a high dollar item (I have several if anyone wants one) and the torch was the quickest and easiest means of removing the front end. It is awfully crude though and so without regard for truth and beauty.

Quite the color change on it at one point.... even went so far as to color match the frame!   :o
